    • Erection of 2no. 2-storey 3-bed dwellings
    • Comments must be received by 03 Sept 18.
    • The parish council discussed this application on 11 Oct 18 and objected to it on the grounds of
      • It is out of keeping with the surrounding properties, which are 1 storey.
      • Over development for the width of the site; an attempt to cram 2 dwellings onto a relatively narrow site.
  • Planning permission refused by TDC on 23 Oct 2018.
  • Appeal – 18/00050/REF
    • Comments must be received by 01 Feb 2019
    • The Parish Council considered the appeal on 10 Jan 19 and still objects to the proposal.  The reasons for its objections are as detailed in response to the original application.
    • Update – No result from the appeal as yet.

    • Alterations to roof to create living accommodation together with French doors leading to roof terrace to rear.
    • The Parish Council discussed this application on 14 Feb 19 and raised no objections.
    • Permission granted on 6 Mar 19.

  • 35 Sandwich Road
    • F/TH/19/0109
    • Erection of first floor rear extension with pitched roof
    • The Parish Council discussed this application on 14 Feb 19 and raised no objections.
    • Permission granted on 25 Mar 19.

  • 5 Primrose Way
    • FH/TH/19/0168
    • Erection of outbuilding over existing swimming pool.
    • Comments must be received by 20 Mar 19.
    • The Parish Council discussed this application on 14 Mar 19 and raised no objections.
  • 22 Foads Hill
    • FH/TH/19/0214
    • Erection of first floor extension together with two storey front, side and rear extension.
    • Comments must be received by 19 Mar 19.
    • The Parish Council discussed this application on 14 Mar 19 and agreed to oppose the application as the proposed extension was considered to be disproportionately large and to constitute overdevelopment of the site.
    • Awaiting decision.

  • 27 Earlsmead Crescent
    • FH/TH/19/0271
    • Erection of single storey side and part single, part two storey rear extension following demolition of existing garage.
    • Comments must be received by 29 Mar 19.
    • The Parish Council discussed the application on 14 Mar 19 and were content with the proposal as there were no major planning objections.  However, they suggested that the appearance of the extension would be improved if the flat roofing to the side and rear were replaced by pitched roofing.
    • Awaiting decision.
