Cliffsend residents have spent 100s of hours preparing WW1 memorial items. The photo below shows the one on the postbox outside the Village Hall. This was added with the full agreement of the Postal Staff and local Area Manager. Unfortunately, the figure was stolen within 24 hours!

A new regular informal weekly Community Meeting is starting on 7th September. It will be held every Thursday morning in the Village Hall, from 10.30 am to noon. All are welcome to attend for a chat over tea / coffee etc., and to meet friends / neighbours. Refreshments will be available. Event flyer.
