42 Bus Service – possible cancellation & KCC consultation on this

KCC are considering withdrawal of the Service 42 / 42A (subsidised) bus service to save money. If this goes ahead, Cliffsend will no longer receive a direct service through the centre of the village. WW1 Memorial on Postbox

Cliffsend residents have spent 100s of hours preparing WW1 memorial items. The photo below shows the one on the postbox outside the Village Hall. This was added with the full agreement of the Postal Staff and local Area Manager. Unfortunately, the figure was stolen within 24 hours!
